Responsibilities
The primary duties of the Civil Engineer and/or Engineering Intern (EI/EIT) is to create and coordinate independent civil designs include drainage, sewer, water and other utility designs. The position requires working knowledge of Civil AutoCad and its application in site design of land development and public works projects. It also requires extensive use of Hydrologic/Hydraulic program tools for preparation of drainage studies.
Senior Civil Engineer/Team Leader required all of the above including leading of Engineers, Designers and Drafters. Also would require dealing with clients from project start to finish.
Qualifications
REQUIRED REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineer, Professional Civil Engineer license with the ability to obtain licensing in Nevada, Utah and Arizona within a timely manner after employment. EI/EIT applicants must have the ability to apply for professional licensing with 2 year of employment.
Preferred requirements include:
Clark County, NV local experience.
Experience with civil engineering/site development projects.
Experience in water, wastewater, and flood control.
Skilled Civil AutoCad with in-depth knowledge and application.
Microsoft Office skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Project tracking and process monitoring.
Entity coordination skills/experience.
Oral and written communication skills.
Drainage and site grading.
Drainage Studies and associated programs.
Strong experience in subdivision, commercial and roadway design /street design.
Ability to work with client or Contractor representatives.
